C3-LOGIX
Specific stimulation of brain regions
What is C3-LOGIX?
Given the brain’s integrated structure, rather than isolated compartments for specific tasks, evaluating these regions through C3-Logix allows us to infer capabilities beyond mere processing speed. This includes the ability to plan and coordinate body and eye movements (attributed to the pre-frontal cortex), spatial awareness (posterior parietal lobe), and the understanding of speech and language (temporal lobe).
How does C3-LOGIX work?
The C3 Logix system incorporates tablet-based adaptations of conventional paper and pencil tests, such as Trail Making Test Parts A and B, and Digit Symbol Matching. It further evaluates psychomotor and visual processing speeds, encompassing both simple and choice reaction time tests.
Moreover, the system includes assessments of reaction times to single stimuli and “choice” reaction times for selecting between two simultaneous stimuli. Additionally, it features a comprehensive cognitive assessment, evaluating orientation, concentration, and both immediate and delayed memory.
Upon completion, each section receives a composite score, facilitating the identification of subtle variances from standard benchmarks. This repeated mention of the cognitive assessment can be streamlined for clarity and brevity, ensuring the text remains concise and focused on the core elements of the C3 Logix testing suite.
Why is C3-LOGIX important?
Given the brain’s integrated nature, rather than being compartmentalized into isolated task areas, utilizing the C3 Logix system to evaluate these regions enables us to draw conclusions about related functions. These include the planning and coordination of body and eye movements (attributable to the pre-frontal cortex), spatial awareness (posterior parietal lobe), and speech and language perception (temporal lobe).
The C3 Logix assessments incorporate tablet adaptations of traditional paper and pencil tests like Trail Making Parts A and B, and Digit Symbol Matching. Additionally, it measures psychomotor and visual processing speeds, along with simple and choice reaction times. Assessments of reaction times to individual stimuli and choice reactions between two simultaneous stimuli are included. A comprehensive cognitive evaluation is also conducted, assessing orientation, concentration, and both immediate and delayed memory.
Upon finishing, each test section is given a composite score, facilitating the identification of subtle differences from established normative data, providing a holistic overview of an individual’s cognitive functioning.
Your road to recovery
One week of intensive treatment
Step 1
The Functional Neurological Examination (FNE)
Share your concerns with us, and we will inquire further to understand them fully. Following this, we’ll conduct a comprehensive Neurological Examination. This process helps us ascertain whether our treatment aligns with your needs.
Step 2
Advanced Machine Testing (quantification)
Based on Step 1, we determine what test are necessary to quantify the underlying cause of the symptoms. To do this, we use a range of computer-controlled equipment.
Step 3
Rehabilitation week (in 5 days)
We address the problems. Through an individual program specifically tailored to your problems, we bring back function during an intensive week of treatment.
Step 4
Aftercare
After the 5-day intensive treatment week, we will give you homework assignments. These are exercises that further promote your recovery. We are happy to keep an eye on these developments with you.
How does C3-LOGIX help ?
Subpar performance on C3-Logix tests does not conclusively diagnose a concussion, but it offers valuable insights into the overall neurocognitive functioning, encompassing extensive brain areas. These findings highlight regions that may be underperforming or impacted, a commonality in conditions like concussions, depression, ADHD, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis, among others.
