Our clinic in Haarlem treats children, adolescents, adults and older adults. You can contact us whether your symptoms are recent, have been present for a long time, or you are already receiving treatment elsewhere.
Symptoms after a sports injury, car accident or fall
Acquired brain injury and concussion symptoms can occur after many types of incidents, including sports injuries, car accidents and falls. Even when scans do not show clear abnormalities, people may continue to experience symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, headaches, memory problems, poor concentration or sensitivity to light and sound.
At Amsterdam Brain Center, we assess how your nervous system is functioning and which factors may be contributing to your symptoms.
Long-term, unresolved symptoms
We also see people whose symptoms have been present for months or years, even after consultations or treatment elsewhere.
If you still experience symptoms such as brain fog, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, balance problems or sensitivity to light and sound, a Functional Neurological Examination may help clarify what is contributing to your symptoms and whether our treatment approach may be suitable.
Treatment at Amsterdam Brain Center
You do not need a referral from your GP or another specialist to contact us. The first step is an intake consultation. During this consultation, we discuss your symptoms, medical history and expectations.
Based on this conversation, we assess whether a Functional Neurological Examination and, if appropriate, an intensive treatment programme may be suitable for you.
