Purpose of the role
The treatment assistant supports the treating physicians in preparing and implementing intensive neurological treatment programmes. You ensure that treatments run smoothly, that clients feel welcome and safe, and that the administrative and practical aspects of the treatment week are carried out accurately.
In addition, you observe the implementation of treatments, report deviations and contribute to the continuous improvement of treatment quality. You are the first point of contact for clients during their stay and contribute to a warm and caring environment in which the focus is entirely on recovery and well-being.

Works closely with the three practitioners and other assistants.
Main duties and responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation and implementation of treatments according to protocol
Check that all steps have been correctly performed by the treating physician (e.g. placement of stickers, equipment).
Guiding and reassuring clients during their treatment week
Keeping track of client information and progress in the system
Supporting practical and organisational tasks within the treatment team
Required knowledge, skills and competencies
Educational level/certificates
Important knowledge or experience
Competencies (e.g. customer-focused, accurate)
Physical and/or special working conditions

Load capacity/lifting/outdoor work
Certificates such as VCA, driving licence
Terms of employment
Salary range: €2,900–€3,500 gross per month based on full-time employment
Hours per week: Full-time (36–40 hours) or part-time with the option to work full weeks
Contract type: Temporary or secondment basis with the prospect of permanent employment
Location: New Amsterdam Brain Centre building in Haarlem
Travel expenses/parking facilities: Travel expenses reimbursed in accordance with regulations; parking in consultation
Start date/possible end date: Start as soon as possible, for an indefinite period
