\nParkinson’s is an enormously complex disease that originates in the brain. There is not yet one concrete answer to its origins. It is well known that a lack of dopamine in the brain causes many of the problems and symptoms. Dopamine is a messenger substance in the brain that is important for movement and thinking. That deficiency results from the death of dopamine-producing brain cells in the so-called “black nucleus” of the brain. This is the middle part of the brain and belongs to the central nervous system.<\/p>\n

The symptoms and problems caused by Parkinson’s vary from person to person. Think trembling of hands and legs, slower movement and stiffness of muscles. When the disease has been around longer, posture and balance problems may develop.
